The Capital of Maryland is home to several educational foundations which preserve the life, culture, and history of the City.

The Cultural Arts Foundation and Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts both strive to enrich the City with performing and visual arts. The Historic Annapolis Foundation preserves Anne Arundel County's and Anapolis' architectural history.
