VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES


 
  • COMPOSITION:
    composed of five members, all of whom shall be residents of the City, appointed by the Mayor, and confirmed by a majority vote of the City Council. Each member of the commission shall serve for a term of three years, or until a successor is appointed and duly qualified, commencing on March 1st of the year in which appointed. The City Council shall designate the initial terms of the members of the commission, so that the terms of not more than two members of the commission shall expire in any one year. No member of the commission shall be an elected or appointed official of the City, or any individual who is otherwise subject to the provisions of this section of the code.
  • CITY CODE: 2.08.030
  • DUTIES:
    To enforce financial disclosure requirements, to conduct information programs and disseminate ethical requirements, to investigate conflict of interest violations, to issue advisory opinions and to maintain certain reports and statements.

    At the Call of the Chair.
